A veteran of over 20 professional seasons and 1,200 games, Dave McLlwain embarked on his pro career after logging 119 points in 1986 for the North Bay Centennials, finishing second in OHL scoring. McLlwain’s NHL career spanned over 500 games from 1987 to 1997, hitting career highs in the 89-90 season with the Winnipeg Jets, where he potted 25 goals and 51 points.

Following the 96-97 season, McLlwain began a very successful career overseas, playing almost 500 games with the Cologne Sharks in the German Elite League (DEL). McLLwain was a five time all-star in Germany, leading the DEL in scoring on two separate occasions.

McLlwain also had the opportunity to represent Canada at numerous Spengler Cup’s as well as with the Canadian National team.
